Ants Living in Trees
Type
There is a type of ant that lives in plant twigs. These ants have amongst them, six to eight unusual plug-shaped head soldier ants, that are used as living doors to close the entrances to their tunnels in the twigs.
ANTI-TYPE
Because there is much I would like to present for our consideration together, I have decided to bring this one forth on its own.
First of all this speaks to us of the plural ministry that the Lord is bringing into being today. This illustrated in the life of Jesus first of all. He said that He was the door of the sheepfold. As this is the case, He also called the local shepherds or elders to be doors as well
In the Old Testament, it was true with the types which were the elders in those days. These elders sat in the gates and anything of importance had to be brought to them for judgement. Any dangers were also met by them first. Regular concourse and duties were carried on but anything that effected the whole was brought to the elders for judgement.
God has placed in the Body of Christ, both locally and universally, ministry to judge the things brought to them. These men have been given to "watch for your souls".
