The Power of Fear

Heb 2:15   And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

In the midst of all that is going on today within the church, God is exposing fears and fobias. As I was meditating on the above passage the Lord spoke into my being:
"What you fear you are in bondage too"
Fear is very predominate in the church. They do not recognize it because it is couched in religious language and traditions. The dwelling on negative and doubt has produced a religious fear that paralyzes the church.

This is true for the individual as well as corporate groups like fellowships, home groups, intercessors, and Bible Study groups. Often that fear causes us to hide in doing good works and religious things. Busyness becomes a hiding place as well. There are times when like the Shulimite in the Song of Songs, we are pushed by others to busyness because of their fear of our progress in God.

Lord I ask that you help us walk through our greatest fear, and become men and women who obey the command of God to Joshua,

Jos 1:9 KJV  Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
God would not have addressed fear if it was not one of the things that Joshua was wrestling with. Here the God appointed leader of the nation was stepping into something that cause him fear and dismay, but God's assurance gave him the courage to push through it to assume the position God had called him to as well as being different from the former leader. God's assurance gave him the ability to be a warrior leader.

Today, God is raising up warrior leaders who have not been in this arena before. He has spoken this is the time. It is the time to conquer fears within as well as those things without that bring doubt.

God is working to remove all hindrances in us to the flow of His power in us. Fear and doubt give room for the enemy to stop the flow.

Lord Jesus, we ask you to expose and remove all fear from activating in our lives.
